Blackstar Diversified Enterprises collaborated with WEG Transformer and Ideal Electric to deliver a pad-mounted transformer to a water treatment facility in Rockville, MD.
The team designed, supplied, and managed the installation of a medium voltage distribution system for the facility that provides water to Rockville’s residents and businesses. Rockville and its subcontracted engineering team chose WEG Transformer for their quality, value, and ability to customize for this specific facility. WEG provided custom 1500kVA and 2500kVA transformers to supply various voltages needed for the facility’s distribution system.
The partnership between DE, WE Transformer, and Ideal Electric successfully overcame supply chain challenges to deliver and install the new pad-mounted transformers on time, ensuring a seamless and efficient upgrade for the Rockville water treatment facility.
