BDE Wins!
WMATA is slated to transform public transportation as we know it with its upcoming “Zero- Emission Bus Transition Plan”. The plan outlines the project’s steps to purchase and test 12 electric buses along with their charging utilities. The buses will begin service in 2023, with the main goal being to determine the buses’ synergy with charging different brands’ charging equipment over a 12 month period. BDE will provide SAI’s low voltage switchgear and JST’s medium voltage transformer to support the entire power station.
BDE Welcomes NOTRAFFIC!
BDE spotted its newest vendor partner at the ITE Conference in New Orleans, LA. NoTraffic is combining the technology we love with the Traffic Safety and Control parameters that we need. We look forward to keeping communities safe with the help of NoTraffic’s innovative technology.
BDE in Orlando!
Last month, our VP of Sales, Chad Risher, attended the IMSA Forum & Expo in Orlando, Florida. He learned about new equipment and features offered by companies such as Oriux and TraffiCalm. IMSA provides a platform that current and aspiring traffic professionals can take advantage of to continue their professional development in the traffic safety and control industry. The organization has been in operation since the late 1800s and has hosted members such as Thomas Edison and Charles Proteus Steinmetz. Chad enjoyed the opportunity and looks forward to attending next year’s Expo!
