As Chief Financial Officer, Brian oversees the financial strategy, capital management, and long-term fiscal stability of Blackstar Diversified Enterprises. He brings more than 25 years of experience in finance, risk analysis, and institutional credit evaluation.

Prior to joining BDE, Brian served as a Senior Director at S&P Global Ratings, where he spent two decades analyzing financial performance and strategic positioning for large healthcare systems, hospitals, and continuing care retirement communities across the United States. His work focused on evaluating risk exposure, capital planning, and operational sustainability at scale.

Before his tenure at S&P, Brian worked in commercial lending for major U.S. banks and finance institutions, gaining hands-on experience in credit structuring and capital allocation.

At BDE, Brian plays a critical role in strengthening financial governance, supporting strategic growth initiatives, and ensuring disciplined capital deployment across projects and operations.

Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Hampton University and an MBA in Finance from The Ohio State University.
